every picture...

...tells a story, don't it?

yesterday i walked around the headlands for a bit. it was a nice day to take pictures. so far, that's been the best part of my week. but i have hope, sort of.

right now i'm listening to my daughter play her electric guitar... "wake me up when september ends." SHE gives me hope, totally.

happy valentines day. (love)

part of the big pier that was here about a century ago. now it serves as a tiki god, complete with offerings.

the edge of town.

these were stairs to the beach not too long ago. the driftwood has been plentiful this winter.

above the cove. this was taken a little after 5:00 p.m.

Happy Valentine's Day to you!

Lovely photos; beginning to think you should do a book with them! Thank you for each!

Annie! the colors, the textures, the compositions! I always enjoy your pictures so much. Do you do this professionally, or is it your hobby? I think a book is a great idea -- or cards, or framed art!

PS: If you sold prints, I would order the driftwood laden stairway and decorate a room around it :-)

I love seeing the Mendocino coast. All that driftwood... just fantastic.

It was good to get out, I agree with the Butler.

Stunning photos!

I want the Tiki god in my backyard, but then I'm selfish that way.

Keep on keeping on and know that you are adored.

And to think, I was so MAD just two posts down! Now I feel all peaceful and calm again.
Your blog's a roller coaster ride.

beautiful photos, Annie. Especially as I am temporarily 'indisposed' it was very nice to get out for a walk! That's an amazing amount of driftwood -- typical or is this a boon year?
