hooray for green

some color amid the clover.


the rhododendron will be in bloom by next month. stay tuned.


the sun shining through the redwoods.


this is a native plant to this region. naturally, the name escapes me.

the green around me makes sense, when little else does. it's been a lovely day
around the shack. happy photo sunday.

I think those are triliums. If they are They are also native to this area and they are Ontario's provincial flower

PS. We have about 2 feet of snow here. It's absolutely breathtaking. Cold but really lovely.

Glad for your lovely day, and grateful for your photos! Here it was 28 and spitting snow this afternoon as we made the run to Lawrence and back, now it's down to 21 outside...

Trillium -- a member of the lily family. My northern Michigan favorite, but we've got to wait a couple more months, Annie. Your pictures are teasing me!
