overload

some days, it's all too much. that's when i take a breather from news stories, and put up a couple of photos taken in cedar ridge, sonora in 1999. we lived there once, though it feels like lifetimes ago. pre-dubya. pre-twin towers. pre-iraq.
~sigh~

I know what you mean, my mind needs a timeout too. That's a lovely picture and it does cause one to slow down and just enjoy the view. Hang in there. If we all hold hands we can make it through this.......I hope. :)

Nice picture. It looks a lot like it was taken in this area.

Looks serene. I'd like to be out along that rail enjoying the stars right now. I'll go outside where I am and freeze, but that isn't so bad either. I imagine how it will look when it's a warm summer night and the fireflies are flickering.

Oh overload...I'm so there right now. I have felt like absolute doo-doo the last few days.

My own fault. It's deja vu from last spring.

This too shall pass. And hopefully I will come out of it somewhat coherent.

Oh yeah...You? Tedious?

NEVER!

You couldn't be if you tried, silly girl.

Beautiful photos!

I don't feel all that old most days; my 30 years with Dottie seems to have gone by in the blink of an eye, yet sometimes it's hard to remember when King George wasn't a thorn in my "soft bits"!

I thought you had gotten the snow that was supposed to fall here, but didn't!

I think we're living in a parallel universe. We went through the wormhole when the Supreme Court anointed George Bush as president. In the real world, the one we long for, Al Gore is president. There was no 9/11, no Iraq war, no dismantling of our Constitution, etc. We're just longing to get back, but can't find our way.
