an angular xmas

my daughters on xmas day, in san francisco. my father and stepmother vacated their north beach victorian apartment about 2 years ago. my father had lived there for almost thirty years. they bought an eichler apartment in a cooperative, near japantown. (and what used to be the winterland ballroom, in my youth!) anyway, their new neighborhood isn't north beach, but it suits them well now. eichler homes and apartment buildings were incredibly popular in the bay area, for several decades. the title is a link that leads to some background on these unique dwellings. rather sparse, with lots of windows and angles.

Fabulous!

A lifetime ago, I lived in an Eichler designed home in San Mateo, with a view of Half Moon Bay. I have absolutely no pictures of it, but if I had been older, wiser and played my cards right, it would have been mine.

Long Story.

Remind me to blog about it sometime.

Your girls are gorgeous.

As are you.
