That looks like a landscape painting. You are lucky to have an unimpeded view.

Is this a real photo??? It looks so Hudson River School! Beautiful pic Annie. You should submit it to a contest or something.

Annie, for some reason your photos come up much larger on Feedly - all alone on that white page - thus making them doubly stunning! But then, you do live in paradise, right?

Thanks, It was taken at sunrise on Monday, using my upgraded-to-5S iPhone. That view still gets to me every time. Nice not having power lines.

Thanks much, it's real. Gotta say, the new iPhone camera is really something. Happy just to share them and enjoy them!

Glad you can see them better now, Zo. xo

Mahalo, Kay. So much can be attributed to the subject matter. As you well know, the natural beauty of these islands is bountiful!

You know, actually is is difficult to paint or photograph really well in Hawaii, and I can't say why, exactly, but part of it may be that the light is usually coming down from the top. I found it was easier to get good photos in Arizona. Any good shots I've gotten here have been at dawn or dusk or on overcast days.
Anyway, this photo is stunning.
