never in my wildest dreams could i have imagined that:
a) the speaker of the house would be a woman...in my lifetime.
and
b) that this woman would hire some of my favorite musicians to play at her celebration. (what would ann coulter say, mr. weir?!)

I'm having a very hard time not riding a huge wave of hope right now...to expect a single person or group to be able to right this sinking dreadnought King George has created seems impossible!

sometimes my perceived optimism is a bit much, i'm sure.
underneath it, i feel as hopeless about all this shit as everyone else.
on that note, the COST per ticket for pelosi's little soiree bugs me. it's weird to imagine what 'ol jerry would think of that, were he around to express his thoughts.
it's money that matters, after all.

but on the other hand ya gotta hand it to our girl nancy...i'm sure that was quite the party...if i had a thousand bucks to throw around i'd have ponied up...
