i am here, alive and well. the weekend in san francisco was pretty much perfect.
i will write of the details at length later in the week. my best pal and i walked, talked, laughed, ate good stuff, drank some wine, and generally celebrated our wondrous friendship.i really got lucky, to have a friend like her. even after 29 years of knowing her, i am still amazed at my good fortune.
but right now i just want to get through the work week, you know?
on sunday, i remembered that frank zappa died twelve years ago, on that date. sigh.
i miss his courage and his overall brilliance, not to mention that acerbic tongue.

Grammar was a Coehlo, and FZ married a Coelho, and lo and behold when she passed, we found out his wife is Grammars Niece 'bout 3X removed.
Small world, it is.
Glad you had reunion.
Peace.
It really not that farfetched a concept, is it.
Imagine?
Work = (that sound a vacuum makes)
Aloha.

Glad you're back and had a great time. You inspired me to call my best pal from high school. Hadn't talked in over a year. I love her to bits, but sometimes it's too hard to stay as close as we tend to get...what with our families who need us, and other stuff...etc.
If that makes sense.
It was a lovely Christmas present to myself, giving her a call. She makes me smile all the way through.
Anyhow, thanks.
*That's one awesome cat, btw.
hey annie =)

Glad you had a good weekend with your best pal. Thanks for remember Frank Zappa. A great spirit lived in that man. Inventive, smart, creative and yes, acerbic.
Welcome home!
It is always and always has been, all about Frank.
